I am not talking about a breich in the fuel tank where the the vapors exit mix with air and burn. I’am refuring to the combusting of vapors inside of the fuel tank that causes the breich in the structure of the tank.
The vapor mixture in the tank is too rich in fuel (not enough oxygen) to ignite.
